Home Activities

We are working number identification to 15 and counting to at least 50.

Have students count out place settings as you set the table.

Have them count to 25 as they wash their hands

Play memory with number cards

Place a certain number of objects in front of them and have them write the number

Math

Throughout the year we will be working on several math concepts.  We will begin with basics concepts working to form a foundation to more problem solving.

We are just beginning to talk about time, and calendars.  In this unit, we will discuss time of days, days of the weeks, and months of the years.  We will be working on learning the months of year and reciting when our birthday is.
